Bulk Beef Buying (The Info you Need!)

Are you a first time bulk beef buyer? Let us walk you through it! Just like wholesale membership shopping, you save money buying our beef in bulk. Whole beef, sides and quarters are priced based on a hanging carcass weight. The hanging weight is the weight of the carcass before it is dry aged and processed into individual cuts. After cutting and wrapping, an average beef carcass will yield approximately 55-60% in bone-in cuts. The total weight of your beef cuts will depend a lot on the instructions that you provide to the butcher.

Approximately how much beef will you get? We have estimated weight ranges and storage requirement information below. Please keep in mind that every animal has a unique weight and your cutting specifications will impact the final take home weight of your beef.

If you would like to discuss more details or have any questions that we have not answered here, please do not hesitate to contact us. We want to make your bulk beef buying a great experience, the first time, and every time after that! Call 587-225-2477 or email
