Stock your freezer and get the most beef for your buck by ordering a half or quarter beef. All the information you need to know is right here! We offer custom cutting on sides only. That means you get to choose exactly what cuts you take home and how they are packaged. Not sure how to select your cuts? No problem. Our price is $7.25/lb and includes cutting and wrapping and home delivery!

  • Reserve your side by paying the $200.00 down payment now.
  • Total price varies depending on the carcass weight and will range from $2400-$3,000
  • We will email you a custom cutting form to review and can answer any questions you may have regarding cutting options. Our butcher will contact you directly to take instructions over the phone when its time to cut your beef.
  • We make sure each carcass has reached the “finished stage”. This means that the cow was mature enough and had enough quality grazing time to put on adequate weight and build marbling for premium quality tender beef!

  • The cost of a side is $7.25 lb charged on the hanging carcass weight (the weight of the side of beef before it is cut). More information below! Butchering/packaging fees are included. You do not need to pay the butcher. Additional processing into sausage, burger patties, jerky is an additional fee, included in your invoice. Contact us for more info if you plan to have sausage or jerky made.

  • An invoice for the remaining fee will be emailed to you when your beef is ready. Payment is due before the order is delivered or picked up. Payment is accepted via e-transfer unless otherwise arranged.

  • Delivery is FREE across Alberta! One location only. Pickup is also available in Brooks, AB.

  • Processing is completed at Brooks Meat Packers, a provincially inspected facility, unless otherwise requested.

  • The whole side is dry aged for 21-28 days for quality enhancement. More flavor, more tenderness!.

  • All cuts are packaged in traditional butcher paper. Ground beef is packaged in white plastic.

  • You decide how the product is packaged. ie. 2 steaks /package. 1.5/lbs ground/package etc.

  • You are entitled to soup bones! Your side will come with soup bones unless you do not want them. Please let us know when giving cutting instructions.

  • Organ meats (liver, heart, and kidney) is available at an additional cost of $59.99. Please purchase an organ box separately and we will include it with your half beef.

  • Beef Tongue is available at an additional cost of $12. Please purchase tongue separately and we will include it with your half beef.

  • Oxtail is available in a 4 kg box. Please purchase the oxtail box separately and we will include it with your half beef.

  • Organ meat, tongue and oxtail is an additional fee because these items are not included in the hanging weight of a beef carcass.

Bulk Beef Buying (The Info you Need!)

Are you a first time bulk beef buyer? Let us walk you through it! Just like wholesale membership shopping, you save money buying our beef in bulk. You also have the convenience of choosing how your beef is cut. Whole beef, sides and quarters are priced based on a hanging carcass weight. The hanging weight is the weight of the carcass before it is dry aged and processed into individual cuts. After cutting and wrapping, an average beef carcass will yield approximately 55-60% in bone-in cuts. The total weight of your beef cuts will depend a lot on the instructions that you provide to the butcher.

Approximately how much beef will you get?? We have estimated weight ranges and storage requirement information below. Please keep in mind that every animal has a unique weight and your cutting specifications will impact the final take home weight of your beef.
